Victoria's Secret's Swarovski Crystal Runway Look Weighs More Than You'd Believe
Swarovski has been collaborating with Victoria's Secret on runway looks for 14 years. So it comes as no surprise that the jeweler would try to outdo itself for this season's Paris show. Swarovski offered a behind-the-scenes view of the lingerie supermodel Josephine Skriver will wear down the catwalk. The entire set is made up of 450,000 crystals, but each sleeve alone weighs eight to 10 pounds thanks to 3,000 fringed tassels, each of which took 12 minutes to string by hand.
