How to Use Aspire Electronic Hookah

Battery Installation

Unscrew the two metal caps on the bottom of the Preteus head.
Insert your 18650 battery with the negative end up and the positive end pointing down.
Tighten the two metal caps back into place.

Atomizer Replacement

Remove the metal cap from the Proteus’ juice tank and unscrew the atomizer that is currently installed.
Simply screw in a new atomizer,
Now screw the Proteus’Metal cop back into place.
Allow your new atomizer’s organic cotton to soak up your juice for at least three before use.

Filling Instructions

1. Filling the Proteus is extremely easy’ just place your filling bottle on the filling hole, press down onto the spring loaded filling hole.
2. Squeeze the e-juice bottle to fill the tank.

Proteus Installation

When installing a new coil be sure to allow your juice to soak through the organic cotton for at least three minutes to avoid burning the wicking.

Remove the Proteus’ juice tank to refill.

Then screw the tank back onto the Proteus’s head

Next mount the Proteus head in place of your standard hookah head. Be sure that the seal is airtight.

Power on: 

Upon connecting the Proteus to a power supply both the orange and blue lights will blink 2 times.

Usage Indication: 

When vaping the battery will indicate the Proteus’ use via the orange LED. As the user vapes the Proteus, the LED will gradually light up.

Vape time: 

If the Proteus is in continuous use for more than ten seconds it will default to a protection mode and cease firing. The LED will blink orange ten times before the Proteus enters standby mode.

Charging: 

While charging the orange LED will be shown. When fully charged the LED will change to blue.

After vaping: 

When the atomizer is no longer being used the LED will dim.

Low Battery Warning:

When the Proteus detects a charge of 3.3V or less it will enter Lower Power Warning mode. If the Proteus is vaped the coil will not fire and the orange LED will blink 15 times. (Solution: Charge your batteries )

Short Circuit Protection Mode: 

If the Proteus detects a short in the device before or while vaping the LEDs (both color) will blink twice. (Solution: Check that the port for charging is working to test the status of the microchip in your Proteus. Also check the status of the atomizer installed)
